I have to agree with Mark Kermode’s article on the woes of 3D. I don’t enjoy movies in 3D (in no small part to wearing glasses myself so I have to wedge the 3D ones over the top).
I have yet to see a 3D film where it adds anything to the film and in most all it does is distract you, often to the point of ripping you from the film. It’s a fad, it has been here before, it’ll die and go away again, it’s just a bit cheaper to do at the moment is all. And as for 3D TV, I’m not holding my breath on that even getting off the ground.
