An article in The Guardian states that the British film industry enjoys steady growth despite recession. The question is how many of those films were actually British?
Yes, we may make money for the production of the Harry Potter films, but most of the profits go back to the US as that’s where the money comes from. The same goes for most of the other big-grossing films.
