Most Anticipated in 2008

Apparently, US cinema audiences have stated that the films they are most anticipating next year are:

  1. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
  2. Batman sequel The Dark Knight
  3. National Treasure: Book of Secrets
  4. American Gangster (despite being due in November)
  5. The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

Not many big surprises there. Not sure Prince Caspian should be in there, The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe wasn’t exactly stunning I didn’t think. Makes you wonder though, did these people get prodding? How many movies have been announced for 2008 and how many people would know about them? I suspect they may have been offered a few suggestions.
