This year you’ll not only be able to watch some of the short films entered in the Sundance Film Festival, you’ll be able to buy them on iTunes too. So far 33 of the 71 shorts entered have signed up and you’ll be able to get them for up to three months afterwards.
I think this is a great idea. Everybody wins. The film-makers get exposure and to make a little money, iTunes and Sundance get a cut and the audience get to buy movies a) they love and, b) that are rarely on sale, shorts don’t typically make it to the shops.
