You’d be forgiven for not noticing the mention of Paramount signing up to deliver movies via iTunes in the swath of announcements by Steve Jobs yesterday, not that it makes much difference to those of us who live outside the US. Apple originally only had Disney signed on to deliver content, but Jobs also mentioned they’d sold 1.3 million downloads in the first 3-4 months of running the service, that’s a serious number. There was also a brief point that they were hoping more content providers would join up soon.
Now, if only they’d launch outside the US, maybe the rest of us wouldn’t have to spend an ice age converting DVDs.
