Following on from yesterday’s announcement that the National Society of Film Critics think Pan’s Labyrinth was the best film of 2006, the Online Film Critics Society has called United 93 their best film of 2006. The Metacritic super-top-ten-list seems to bear that out, but it is also made up of largely of US critics, which makes me wonder how it played to UK audiences. I’ve not seen it, but a friend of mine has and was very impressed. Just goes to show there never is a definitive answer.
