So, as you read this, I should have arrived in Cannes for this year’s film festival as part of the React Films mob. We’re heading over there for our first time to have a look about and try and experience some of what is on offer.
Thankfully we’re not heading into the fray alone and unguided, the team at Amber Pictures, who have been before, are coming along too, hopefully they’ll show us the way, and we’ve got some other experienced festival goers coming along too.
I’ve never been to a festival before (unless you count Vancouver, where I happened to be in town at the same time by pure coincidence) so I’m not sure what to expect, I’m excited and a little daunted at the prospect to be honest.
I have no idea whether I will be able to get internet access to update live from the event, but one way or another I’ll post some thoughts on our experiences and (hopefully) some photos too.
