So, the first trailer for Bond number 21, Casino Royale, has been released, with the controversial Daniel Craig being able to show his mustard to doubting Bond enthusiasts (availabe on the Sony Pictures official site here, or AOL here).
The first half is in black and white and seems to allude to Bond’s first appoint as a ‘double-0′ operative. If that doesn’t do it for you, the action that follows might, it certainly seems to have been dialled up a notch, with some spectacular sequences. There’s also the usual bevy of beauties with Bond wrapped around most of them.
Carig certainly struts about like a confident agent, throwing villains here and there, firing left and right, punching, kicking and generally being far more pro-active and far less secretive that his Secret Agent job title usually requires.
One thing I noted with disappointment was the return of the Aston Martin DB5, it’s in the past, it’s an old car from a previous time, GET RID OF IT. Nobody wants to see it, it just reminds us of the better films from an illustrious past.
Anyway, release date seems set for November 17th, hopefully something to look forward to.
