Sin City is a new movie from Robert Rodriguez (he who did Desperado and SpyKids)and is another example of Rodriguez’s love of HD over film as ashootingmedium. The film is based on a comic series by Frank Miller and is littered with stars including Bruce Willis, Jessica Alba, Mickey Rourke, Clive Owen, Elijah Wood and many more.
The style of shooting looks very interesting, using primarily black and white, with OTT colour for dramatic affect.
I’m not sure what the story is about, but with the people involved, the interesting shooting style and the trailer to go by, it looks like something worth checking out.
